MONT STUBLINE – CONFIGURATIONS

CONFIGURATIONS

DOUBLE-HELIX MODULE CONFIGURATION OPTIONS

Double-helix system performs in various biomasses, environments and applications.

HEX Module configuration can vary depending on process requirement and Client preferences, and is defined by following parameters:

  • No HEX Units (i.e. total module heat exchange surface) comprising a HEX module;
  • Connection between individual HEX units - serial, parallel or combined;
  • No of HEX modules required to fulfill process requirements;
  • Spatial orientation (horizontal/vertical);
  • Placement (indoor/outdoor);
  • Steel grade (“common” grades Carbon steel and AISI316L);
  • By-passes for sectioning of HEX modules (lower CIP, balancing summer/winter regimes, operational flexibility in terms of flow and temperature fluctuations);
  • Buffer slots for easy future upgrade by adding units to the module;

HEX engineering team will analyze requests, consider and suggest options, and discuss them in detail and help choose the best solution for Your Plant!

Horizontal HEX modules

HORIZONTAL HEX MODULES

Rack-type double-helix heat exchanger modules installed in horizontal configuration.

Vertical HEX modules

VERTICAL HEX MODULES

Tower-type double-helix modules with very small footprint, designed for outdoor biogas and AD plants.

Horizontal HEX modules

HORIZONTAL HEX MODULES

Compact layout with easy access for piping, valves and instruments, suitable for indoor or outdoor installations and modular capacity increase.

Vertical HEX modules

VERTICAL HEX MODULES

Vertical layout allows stacking of units, simplified routing of main headers and efficient integration into existing process pipe racks.
